چکیده

To study the dynamic response of a pressurized thin-walled circular tube structure subjected to near-field underwater explosion, deformation and damage tests cylindrical shell with different internal pressures wall thicknesses effects an explosion from 2 g explosives at stand-off distances were carried out in water tank. LS-DYNA finite element software was used carry relevant numerical simulations explore anti-explosion mechanism affected by factors including initial pressure, thickness shell, distance. The simulation inputs are high-speed photography images results shell. highlight bubble pulsation, action process deformation, energy change indicate that increase pressure can effectively improve its ability, while r = 12 cm 9 correspond same pressure. Increasing also causes deflection difference decrease. modeling may weaken ability which has Pr 0.7 MPa. After maximum displacement h 1 mm 1.5 is less than rebound distance difference. With this decrease distance, proportion high-pressure shock wave increases pulsation decreases. Specifically, proportions 30% 92% 3 cm, respectively.

The Dynamic and Vibration Response of Composite Cylindrical Shell Under Thermal Shock and Mild Heat Field

In this article, the vibration and dynamic response of an orthotropic composite cylindrical shell under thermal shock loading and thermal field have been investigated. The problem is that the shell is initially located at a first temperature, and some tension caused by a mild heat field is created, then the surface temperature of the cylinder suddenly increases. The partial derivative equations...

Evaluation of 2D concentrically braced frames with cylindrical dampers subjected to near-field earthquake ground motions

Near field earthquakes have imposed major damage to buildings in the past years. In some cases, the intensity of such damage is too considerable to be disregarded. The most effective way to improve seismic performance of buildings is applying a seismic control technique. The cylindrical friction damper is one of these methods, which has become popular for its desirable performance in the energy...

Time-Dependent Hygro-Thermal Creep Analysis of Pressurized FGM Rotating Thick Cylindrical Shells Subjected to Uniform Magnetic Field

Time-dependent creep analysis is presented for the calculation of stresses and displacements of axisymmetric thick-walled cylindrical pressure vessels made of functionally graded material (FGM). For the purpose of time-dependent stress analysis in an FGM pressure vessel, material creep behavior and the solutions of the stresses at a time equal to zero (i.e. the initial stress state) are needed....

Characteristics of Horizontal and Vertical Near-Field Ground Motions and Investigation of Their Effects on the Dynamic Response of Bridges

Recently, concerning failure of structures due to earthquakes, special investigations of near fault ground motions have been noticed. Hence, in this paper, characteristics of near field ground motions have been considered in horizontal and vertical directions. In this consideration, the record averages have been compared with Uniform Building Code and Eurocode8 spectra in two levels. In additio...
